Ravanayanam - The Guru

I did this Illustration after reading an amazing book, ASURA by Anand Neelakantan. I didn't use any visual reference for this digital painting as the words from the book helped me visualize better and urged me to paint a scene from the book. Swipe to read the passage that I used from the book to illustrate. I did this digital painting in a single layer and treated it like a traditional painting. I tried to incorporate the descriptions given about the characters, Ravana, Vibhishna, Kumbha and Brahma from the book, in this painting.
